Strengthening the homeless response system through collaboration and advocacy
Nonprofit organizations serving LA’s homeless population are often the primary means of assistance for thousands of the region’s most vulnerable residents. Our membership includes homeless service providers and supportive housing developers across LA County – large and small organizations, cities and county areas of service, and all the various populations of people experiencing homelessness.
These organizations have always valued collaboration, whether it’s case-conferencing about shared clients or providing warm handoffs during program referrals. Yet given the magnitude of the region’s homeless crisis, members of the Greater LA Coalition are coming together to create a better system for homeless services, advocate for more affordable housing, and engage public decisionmakers about these issues.
